Al Gore on Climate Change
Don’t miss this crucial conversation with former Vice President and climate change activist Al Gore on how far the battle to halt climate change has come - and why he thinks the momentum is unstoppable. President Trump’s recent announcement that the United States would withdraw from the Paris climate accord was a major setback in the fight against the global climate crisis. Now more than ever, it’s up to the people to continue the energy revolution. Gore has become a uniquely post-political figure, pursuing ideas larger than any party or office. In his upcoming film "An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power" he continues his tireless fight, traveling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy.

Al Gore Tells Harvard Students ‘Assault On Science’ Threatens Humanity’s Survival
Former Vice President Al Gore said President Donald Trump’s “assault on science” threatens “the capacity of the human species to endure” on Earth. Gore issued his warning in a speech to Harvard University students and faculty, stressing “reason” and “rational debate”, indeed democracy itself, were under threat from the “ideology of authoritarianism”. Science “is now being slandered as a conspiracy based on a hoax”, Gore said, likely referring to a 2012 Trump tweet where he called man-made global warming a “Chinese hoax”.
