Gejet for searching friends

The students have invented an electronic device which allows to find friends not only through the Internet, but also in the street. The invention is called Friend Finder (the Selector of Friends). How does it work?
The users enter some personal datas, information into the special computer program, and then load it into small device Friend Finder which then fastens either on clothes, or on a handbag.
As soon as the person meets this device (not further than 30 foots) with the person having similar interests, on the device display start to blink the bulbs specifying the potential friend in crowd.
According to inventors, such device helps to get acquainted in the street and to fasten conversation with the stranger.
