Smartwatch projects notifications to your hand

The Ritot watch looks like a fitness band, but offers a clever twist to smartwatches by ditching the standard watch face and projecting the time and other notifications to the top of your hand. The company is using crowdfunding site Indiegogo to start development of the watch. The "projection watch' supports called ID, text messages, e-mails and even status updates from Facebook and Twitter. Users can control notifications through a separate app. The device is waterproof and features a battery with up to a month of standby time. Projections are also customizable, available in 20 colors. Ritot says the projections are safe for the skin. The company is creating two versions: Bracelet and Sport.
