British scientists create invisible raincoat

The British physicists have made a step closer to the creation of an invisible raincoat. The scientists have managed to make the convex object look flat to electromagnetic waves. " We demonstrated a practical possibility to use nanocomposites to control surface wave propagation through advanced additive manufacturing. Perhaps most importantly, the approach used can be applied to other physical phenomena that are described by wave equations. A nano material discovered by the British scientists is a unique 7 layer “sandwich” made of dielectric particles. The layers are arranged in such a way that any electromagnetic radiation which falls on them can transform.
