25 session of Interstate Council on Coordination of Scientific and Technical Information

On April, 26th, 2018 in Yerevan 25 session of Interstate Council on Coordination of Scientific and Technical Information (ICCSTI) has taken place.

At anniversary session the chairman of ICCSTI, the director of the National Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Ministry of Economic Development and Investment of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Vardanyan, the adviser of the Chairman of Coordination Council of the Business Centre of Economic Development of the CIS countries, the chief of Department of Scientific and Technical Cooperation and Innovations of Department of Economic Cooperation of Executive Committee of the CIS member states, the chief of the Department for Science and Technologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Russian Federation, representative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA,  State Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science RA, and other interested organizations have taken part in the session.

The session has opened the chairman of ICCSTI Gevorg Vardanyan, and the chief of the Department of Scientific and Technical Cooperation and Innovations of Department of Economic Cooperation of Executive Committee of the CIS countries Timur Mansurov .

Chairman of ICCSTI was re-elected Gevorg Vardanyan - the director of the National Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Some questions on cooperation in spheres of innovation and scientific-technical information in territory of the CIS member states were discussed, among which:

• State of affairs in sphere of the scientific and technical information (STI) in CIS member states, and the Plan of measures on realization of the third stage (2016-2020) Strategy of economic development of the Commonwealth of Independent States for the period until 2020.
• Course of realization of the Agreement on creation of the information infrastructure of innovative activity of the CIS member states in a form of the distributed information system and a portal of the CIS «the Information for innovative activity of the CIS member states» from May, 19th, 2011
• Activity of the base organization of the CIS member states» on interstate exchange of STI of All-Russian Scientific and Technical Information Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences for the accounting period and suggestions on cooperation in sphere of STI, and also about the condition of ICCSTI website

Besides, participants of the session have summed up the Plan of work for the period of 2017 and have discussed the project of the Plan of the work for 2018.
