«Libraries in the digital environment. Formation of an effective platform for cooperation» 

On october 26th at  Scientific and Technical Library of the National Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship discussion on a theme «Libraries in the digital environment. Formation of an effective platform for cooperation» has taken place. The purpose of the event was to discuss the current problems of acquisition of the literature, the availability maintenance, alternative ways of decisions, service of library funds with application of modern technologies, numbering of funds from the point of view of the copyright, necessity of storage of originals and to listen to opinions and offers, being in the digital environment. At the discussion were participating  representatives of various libraries, research institutes, representatives of Matenadaran and etc.

As opening address the director of the National Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship – Gevorg Vardanyan has acted. As a moderator of the discussion was the head of the Scientific and Technical Library – Levon Gharibyan. He underlined the importance of the discussed themes,  the effective cooperation and exchange of opinions and offers of skilled experts in the decision of some problems. The specialists of the library also have made a reports on analysing the indexes of the library services, formation of the electronic library cataloges by IRBIS system, the service of Electronic delivery of documents. The deputy head of the Agency of Intellectual Property  Christina Hamparyan spoke «About the copyright and the adjacent rights», concerning libraries. Within the frame of the event an exchange of opinions and offers for further cooperation has taken place.  Wrapping up the event Dr. Gagik Sukiasyan has offered to formate a department of military literature, to unite corresponding bibliographic resources of all libraries, thereby to create something new in the library environment - cooperation library - army.
