Project objective Improving the transportation infrastructure in Armenia through rehabilitating the existing operating central railway system. Project description The railway will start from Gagarin station and will go to town Agarak in the southern border, and then it will pass through Gavar, Martuni, Karmrashen, Jermuk, Tsghuk, Tatev, Kapan and Meghri. The railway length is 271, 71km. Construction commencement will be in 2015 and operation data in 2021, operation period 30 years from the end of the construction.
