The thickest trunk in the world. The 42-year-old tree, which has a circumference of 42 meters, continues to grow

In the city of Santa Maria del Tule in Mexico grows an amazing tree, known as the largest tree in the world.
2000-year-old Montezuma fir grows in the yard of a local church. To fully embrace the trunk of the tree, 30 people must stand side by side with their arms outstretched. Its circumference is 42 meters, which is an incredible size for one tree.
In fact, in the past, scientists assumed that it was formed by merging two separate trees, but a DNA study found that it was a single tree.
The famous tree is also quite high, next to which the nearest church looks like a dwarf. And despite its millennial antiquity, it still grows.
