For one night eatible hotel has opened in London

The world’s first hotel made entirely of cake has opened its gates to guests for one night.

The edible hotel within a hotel in Soho in central London used 600kg of sugar to build and was created by more than 14 artists who spent 2,000 hours baking and 900 hours in decorating.

The hotel has vanilla sponge cushions, windows and walls clad with 2,000 macaroons, a hand-stitched rug made from 1,081 meringues, 20kg of marshmallow garlands, windowsills built from fudge and a bath filled with caramel-coated popcorn.
