Ink Lake in Algeria

 

 

In Algeria, nearby Sidi-bel-Abbes there is an ink lake. Water of this lake makes it possible to write on a paper. However the water of this lake is not salty, the inhabitants doesn't use for drink. You cann't see on its coast any fisherman. It is strange  there no water there, but ink. Only two small rivers run into it. One of it brings iron salts, and the other contains the remains of various vegetation. Mixing up, they transform lake into a big natural inkstand.
