LINOLEUM

The modern linoleum - a material of new generation essentially different from not too presentable ancestor. Among recently acquired qualities - unattainable earlier ecological cleanliness.

Magnificent decorative properties and strong characteristics allow linoleum to compete confidently in bedrooms and drawing rooms a laminate or other floor covering, and in corridors, bathrooms and on kitchens - to a ceramic tile. It does not concede to the contenders and on service life: the most part of marks of linoleum is calculated on use within 7-10 years, and some - and 30 years.
Linoleum history begins many centuries ago though only in 1863 Englishman Frederick Walton has patented a new floor covering. He also has invented the name "linoleum" (from Latin «linum oleum» – «linen oil»).
