Motorcycle Stels Zero MMX have been invented for the US Military Forces

Zero Motorcycles  have been developed exclusively for military use in the U.S. Special Operations Forces.  Its use has lowered the noise, has lowered allocation of heat and has raised controllability of a motorcycle.

The Zero MMX provides Special Operations riders with unique tactical advantages over traditional combustion motorcycles, as the electric powertrain allows for rapid movement over hostile terrain in near silence and minimal heat signature. This silence and undetectability, which many in the public sector frame in a negative light, are perfectly suited for military use and hunting “bad guys.” The infrared light allows you to drive with the lights off.

The MMX has met the most stringent standards set forth by the U.S. military, and an undisclosed number of MMX motorcycles are currently undergoing full operational testing. To create this military-spec electric motorcycle, Zero created a specialized military dash with quick and centralized mainline controls, keyless ignition, operation in up to a meter of water, wiring for infrared systems, reserve power capabilities to extend range during extreme situations.
