Two Argentine students created a washing machine that works without water

The equipment is for industrial use and has already been registered in Intellectual Property. An industrial washing machine dry using carbon dioxide as a solvent wash , was devised by a young Berrotarán , Nicolás Araya , Nicolás Vuksanovic , a fellow of the Industrial Design college career .

The device, which aims to environmental problems and on time to the scarcity of water in the world, was presented as final work. It differs from other types of dry cleaning that uses no water at all, only natural carbon dioxide and patented recyclable and biodegradable detergent.

The NIMBUS has the advantage of representing a cost savings to the user, provide washing clothes, because after each cycle the clothes end up almost completely dry and wrinkle , so it is not necessary to perform a drying process . Your marketing would bring great benefits : user not waste water and the replacement cost of LCO2 not be high and the power consumption is reduced. Therefore, in addition to being healthy and making more ecological washing , would be making a more economical wash.
