As the satellite NASA Aura confirms, the thickness of an ozone layer in the atmosphere has decreased several times.
The spectrometer OMI (Ozone Monitoring Instrument), which has been located onboard of the satellite Aura, also has fixed a decrease in concentration of ozone in comparison with the similar period of last year.
Scientists cannot explain this phenomenon and cannot assume, that these changes will end.
