Artificial limbs of seaweed 

The seaweed becomes raw materials for making artificial limbs. As the Australian scientists believe, the new technology will allow to low the risk of the complications connected with the development of infections after such operations. It will be well enough to cover the surface of an implanted part with the substance ­ allocated from sea seaweed Delisea pulchra.
