Doctors have learnt to diagnose a cancer of lungs by smelling air

 

 

Scientists from Latvia have learnt to diagnose a cancer of lungs by means of special "nose". This device analyzes air and organic connections which are exhaled by patients. But somehow they could learn to do conclusions the device.

The scientists have done several experiments, "nose" could diagnose a cancer of lungs in 114 smokers and 128 non-smoking patients, having put only 10 wrong diagnoses.       

In the future scientists plan to improve this technology that it could define illness unmistakably.
