The new award will make a competition to Nobel winner 

The article is about the physicist Fred Kavli and his new scientific award which should make a competition to Nobel.

This award will be handed over time in two years for achievements in the field of astrophysics and nanotechnology and also for brain researches. It was supposed that the new award would be handed over for the first time in Oslo in September, 2008. The prize-winning fund of the award was supposed to be  1,3 million dollars, whereas the size of the Nobel Prize - 1,8 million.
