In Australia, invented the "alcolock" for drivers of drunks

 

An unusual way to deal with drunk driving have come up with the Green continent. Drivers who are repeatedly arrested for driving while intoxicated, will have to blow before every trip to the castle car.

"Alcolock" is an electronic device connected to the engine ignition. If the driver before you go drinking even small amounts of alcohol, the car simply will not start. The Minister of Transport of Australia Duncan Gay announced that the new locks will be mandatory for hard-core offenders. The relevant law is passed in the next year.

According to the Minister of Transport and experts, statistics show that the introduction of this measure will allow for a further five years to prevent 140 crashes, six deaths and 102 injured. Overall it is expected that the number of offenses related to drunk riding, drop by 500 cases per year.
