Dusty storms of Sahara and life in Atlantic

The British oceanologists from Liverpool University have established that dusty storms in Sahara support to the life of sea organisms on open spaces of Northern Atlantic and do not allow it to turn to a desert.
Researchers have found out that the blue-green seaweeds are capable to grow in these regions, as they use connections of iron which bring dusty storms from Sahara. It allows them to receive organic substances, particularly, phosphorus - the major component of DNA, which is not  enough at the ocean.
