FIFTY SAFEST BANKS OF THE WORLD

The magazine Global Finance has published the list of the safest banks of the planet. More than half of credit organizations in it represent the Old World, every fifth - from the North America. The Russian banks weren't included into a rating.
The debt crisis in Europe and a new wave of agitation concerning a world economy condition again have forced to pay great attention to safety degree of the credit organizations. On this background the rating Global Finance rather quiets pessimists:

45 from 50 last year's participants of the list could be kept in the higher echelon of world banking system. Thus several large credit organizations from Great Britain could return to a top-50.

The magazine Global Finance makes the rating of the "strongest" banks of the world within 19 years. In the time of preparation of the current list the publisher has spent comparison between long-term credit ratings and total amount of actives of 500 biggest banks of the planet.
This year the list included 28 banks from Europe (regional leaders here are France and Germany - with 6 credit organizations in the rating), 11 - from the North America (5 from USA and 6 from Canada), 9 from Asian-Pacific region and 2 - from the Middle East.

The rating has headed German KfW, the "silver" has got to French Caissedes Depots et Consignations (CDC), and an honourable third place in the list has took Dutch Bank Nederlandse Gemeenten. Let's notice that changes in the leading three credit organizations hasn't occurred for a year.
