Engineers have created a robot flea. it jumps 87 times higher than itself

Chinese engineers have created a small robot flea. Its weight is only 12 milligrams and its body length is 3.4 millimeters. Moreover, he can jump 87 times higher than his own height.

Scientists have proposed a new technology that provides high performance both when jumping and when moving on the surface.  

A series of tests showed that the robot can jump up to 296.25 millimeters in height with a length of 156.28 millimeters. This makes 87 and 45 lengths of his body, respectively. Such characteristics are comparable to the capabilities of a real lion. 

The robot can move in complex terrain, due to its small size, overcoming narrow places on the surface and jumping over high obstacles.
