The further development of artificial intelligence has become dangerous
Artificial intelligence heralded a new revolution when chatbots came into use. It became clear that they can show themselves much better than ordinary mortals in various spheres of human activity. This fact worries millions of people.
Even the scientists who promote the development of artificial intelligence state that there is a limit, if crossed, there may be irreversible destructive consequences.
Imagine a situation when a person no longer needs to reason. Artificial intelligence does everything for him. Undoubtedly, this regression will make humanity significantly
dependent on modern digital machines in terms of the development of the human brain.
Humanity is warned that this phase of artificial intelligence development must be halted until humanity can manage these extremely rapid technological changes on a global and local level.
People are particularly concerned about the level of unemployment that will be established in the world as a result of these technological changes. As OpenAI found, 80% of the American workforce belongs to professions where at least 10% of tasks can be performed with the help of artificial intelligence.
On the other hand, 20% of the workforce belongs to professions where artificial intelligence will affect the implementation of 50% of work tasks:
In the diagram above, we see the professions where the influence of artificial intelligence is not so strong. Specifically, the top five include athletes, fast food chefs, large equipment operators, hairdressers, and glass installers and repairers.
On the other hand, we notice professions where artificial intelligence can completely or largely replace a person. These professions include accountants, administrative and legal assistants, climate change policy analysts, journalists and creatives, as well as mathematicians.
In this situation, governments should act as quickly as possible.
It seems that this problem is present in the US labor market, but it is not. These processes will enter all countries and one must be prepared.
In order to mitigate the negative consequences of artificial intelligence, it is necessary to prepare for an economic crisis, to change the policy in the field of education, to review the training programs of employees and to pay special attention to the social protection system.
Let's prove that these changes will also come to our country, Armenia. For example, Armenia needs a radical change in the education system. Even today, there are professions in which, after 4 or more years of specialization, it will become clear that the human factor in that work is not very appropriate, because new technologies work more efficiently.
