In Ararat Marz, a program for the introduction of "Electric Shepherds" was implemented

The most important news from Armenia on Telegram Due to the conflict between man and wild nature, there are still cases of bears appearing in different settlements. Farms are the most affected by animals approaching settlements to find food. Modern systems - "electric shepherds" - are quite effective for solving a problem that requires a balanced approach. They allow to prevent the entry of wild animals into the territory of farms, without deepening the human-nature conflict. The issue of supporting regional structures continues to be the focus of Viva-MTS and the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Values (FPWC). In order to support farms, the partners of the years implemented an important project in Ararat Marz. They provided "electric shepherds" with modern technologies to the enlarged Ved community of Ararat region. This will help prevent damage to farms. "Viva-MTS is a technological leader in the field of telecommunications. It has been proven many times by various projects. Beyond the classic business, we also implement corporate social responsibility programs and strive to make everything we do related to the use of high technology. The Electric Shepherds program provides mutual protection. By keeping wild animals, farmers protect themselves from possible attacks by those same animals. The idea of this joint program has not only provided the farms with some kind of objective tool, but if we take a deeper look, we can say that we are trying to contribute to the formation of agricultural culture. I think this is a very good example of how people should care about what they do, what they develop, and what is important to them."
