Huawei intends to fully focus on artificial intelligence
Huawei has joined the list of companies that want to fully dedicate themselves to artificial intelligence, reports CNN.
For the first time in nearly 10 years, the Chinese tech and telecommunications giant has announced its new strategic direction, saying it will shift its focus to artificial intelligence. Previously, the company prioritized cloud computing and intellectual property.
The company's CFO Meng Wanzhou made the announcement at a company event in Shanghai.
"As artificial intelligence gains momentum and its impact on industry continues to grow, Huawei's All Intelligence strategy is designed to help all industries make the most of new strategic opportunities," he said.
