Digital plaster

British company Toumaz Technology informed about the start of clinical tests in the systems of wireless monitoring of state of health Sensium, also called by a digital plaster.

We shortly have told about this working out in June, 2005. Since then much has changed to the best. Now Sensium represents "label" on a body.

As it is informed, tests will be carried out by a command of researchers in hospital of Imperial college of London (St. Mary's Hospital). Volunteers and group of patients will take part in tests which will carry disposable devices "for lives" in some days.

As informs Imperial college of London, thanks to a digital plaster, physicians can obtain data about the condition of patients in a mode of real time.

The first results are expected by the end of December of this year, and completely tests should be finished in the first quarter of 2010. Then tests in hospitals of the USA will begin. In case of a successful outcome the digital plaster will receive corresponding permissions on commercialization in Old and New world.
